About Us

Welcome to Breathe Into Awareness Yoga Teacher Training!

We are honored you are visiting us to research your deep dive into “yogism”.  Since 2007, we have had the pleasure of guiding individuals through this in-depth yoga journey. Through the years, the program has grown and continues to be improved due to the dedication of the teachers of the program to their own yoga studies, bringing more specializations to our curriculum. Whether you plan on teaching or are studying in order to enhance your own personal practice, our goal is to mentor you through the process and for as long after as you need us.

Know What You Know

The longer you teach, the more you find you do not know. This keeps the best teachers on the quest for more training and knowledge. Yoga is a lifelong practice, an on-going school of learning the self. When we begin to teach, Yoga becomes an on-going discipline of learning about others as well. If we stop learning, we put ourselves, as well as our students in danger; Yoga teachers have a responsibility for the safety of everyone who enters their classroom. If you do not know something, do not teach it. You do not have to wait to be 100% comfortable with teaching something new, otherwise none of us would ever teach, but do know enough that you are confident you are on the right track. Practice on yourself; do not take the dogma (untested rules) of others as set in stone. Although our training applies a certain prescribed technique to our asana we should stay open to the possibility that an inconsistency may be found. A key part of yoga practice is to remain open to the knowledge that what we hold to be true today may not be true tomorrow.
